Welcome to JGSDF's toughest and elite brigade, the Special Forces Group. The SFGp is a military unit consisting of those who have undergone the serious selection and training process with unforgiving conditions to bring honor upon the JGSDF and themselves. Being in the Special Forces Group requires maturity, teamwork, and having the courage to deal with more difficult and complex tasks compared to the standard infantry. They are the ones willing to risk and sacrifice their lives for JGSDF and especially for the people of Japan. Joining in SFGp wont be that easy as it requires you to go through an extensive process that is split into two parts in order to filter out those deemed unfit.

The 1st Airborne Brigade is Japan's elite paratrooper unit, established to counter enemy special forces or guerilla units. Utilizing it's airborne mobility, the Brigade is able to be deployed wherever and whenever it is needed.

As a pilot in the 12th Air Brigade , our duty is to transport JGSDF operators to their desired area with no mishaps, accidents and only with the highest efficiency. The whole core and integrity of an operation may very well lie on our shoulders and we are expected to execute your duties to the highest standards. We as the eyes in the sky are guardians for the ground troops. Relaying information and guiding ground troops into combat zones. Providing over watch and keeping the safety of ground troops dearly. Lastly, we may be the saving grace in many scenarios. Providing air support and CAS ( Close Air Support ) are one of the many ways that we as a brigade contribute to the fight. These instances may save the lives of many ground operators and give them another day to fight on. All in all, we are dominant in the skies, providing key elements for the fight to carry on and so that in times of crisis, we may dominate the fight. ​

The 7th Division is the only armoured division of the Japanese Ground Self Defence Force, utilizing tanks and armoured vehicles to provide fire support and transportation for the infantry who work alongside them.
